How to Play Dominoes
Domino is a game played with a set of tiles. Traditionally, they are made of ivory or bone. European dominoes are often made of dark hardwood. However, they have also been fashioned from oyster shell.

The first player chooses the tile they will play, and then lays it face up in the center of the table. The second player then plays a tile to the right of the first. This tile will typically be a double-six.
After the second tile is played, the third player is given a tile to play vertically. When this tile is played, the fourth and fifth tiles are flipped open. Depending on the type of domino you are playing, the fourth tile will produce an open end of four and five.
When you are playing the game, it can take a long time to set up. Before the game starts, you must first decide on your target score. Once the target score is determined, you and your opponents must agree on what the target score will be. For instance, if you and your partner are playing a concentration game, you will need to agree on how many pips you need to reach your goal.
If you are playing a positional game, you will be trying to get a certain number of tiles to fall on the table before the tower falls. Your goal is to make the tower as stable as possible. In order to do this, you will need to push the dominos forward with increasing force. Each player can then add a tile to the line in front of them.
